Amanda Morris is our youth leader, Sunday School superintendent, 7-12th grade Sunday School teacher, and VBS director. She has been a member here at Hope since 2009. She has 4 children: Daniel, Abbie, Emma, and Ezra. She also has 2 cats, 2 dogs, and at any given time may also be rehabbing any number of baby squirrels or possums. Amanda also works full time as a licensed veterinary technician at an ER vet clinic in Rochester. Amanda’s two favorite weeks out of the year are VBS and Shark Week. Shark Week is Amanda’s favorite holiday, and she is still lobbying for ways to get a shark tank somewhere in the church. Amanda also enjoys Dad Jokes, and finding ways to make Jesus accessible to kids through humor and a relatable “adult”. Amanda’s favorite Bible verse also happens to be her Confirmation verse.
“Do not conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will know and approve what God’s will is, His holy perfect and pleasing will.”
